Mission

The chief mission of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce in Australia is to serve our Australian Armenian community and this beautiful country Australia.

Our main objectives are to:

  1. Promote trade between members;
  2. Provide business courses and forums for discussions and counselling on business problems to members;
  3. Study, promote and extend commercial and industrial relations between Australia and Armenia;
  4. Carry out economic, fiscal and market research, gather statistics, identify subsidies, and develop and communicate information to meet the needs of members;
  5. Procure reliable information in all matters pertaining to commerce, industry, trade, agriculture, marine customs and transportation;
  6. Identify and promote new areas of business ventures, potential joint ventures, and development of trade;
  7. Actively publicise and promote the Chamber, and Armenian businesses;
  8. Receive and exhibit, upon request of members and to such extent as space and other circumstances shall permit, samples of products suitable for export and import;
  9. Provide travelling members assistance in making business connections and studying conditions;
  10. Promote and extend trade between Australia and Armenia, publishing and disseminating statistics and other information relating thereto, making representations to governments, chambers of commerce and other authorities therein, and otherwise acting in such manner as may be deemed expedient and conducive to the attainment of this object;
  11. Study, promote, extend and advance the lawful interests of any persons, and firms as relates carrying on business between Australia and Armenia,
  12. Study legislative and other measures affecting trade and commerce, and to take such steps as may be deemed necessary;
  13. Publish a journal containing reports of the proceedings of the Chamber or reports, statistics or information of any description of interest to persons carrying on trade with Armenia,
  14. Co-operate with institutions which may be deemed to assist in or facilitate the fulfilment of the objects of the Chamber,
  15. Be a non-political, non-religious, secular organisation.
